Eligible Return Policy

Making a purchase indicates that you have acknowledged, understood, and agree to adhere to the following terms and conditions and details mentioned at www.janyascloset.com.

  1. Products that were purchased on sale, at a discount, through a promotional offer, using a coupon, or with a gift voucher cannot be returned, refunded, or exchanged.
  2. Hair accessories, custom designs, and custom colors cannot be returned.
  3. International orders cannot be returned.
  4. The customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, as we do not offer reverse pick-up services. Please note that return shipping costs are non-refundable.
  5. Eligible returns will be issued store credit that is valid for 60 days from the date of issuance and the email notification sent.
  6. We kindly ask our valued customers to consider recording a video while opening their parcels. This will help us to ensure that any discrepancies that may arise can be addressed and resolved efficiently.

Other important return and exchange details to keep in mind include:

  1. We do not provide refunds for returns. Instead, we offer store credit that is valid for 60 days.
  2. Restocking fees ranging from 25% to 35% may apply to eligible returns.
  3. If you wish to return a product, please email us at team@jayascloset.com within 24 hours of receiving the item to initiate the return process.
  4. Eligible returns must be received by our warehouse within 7-8 days of the delivery date.
  5. The customer must provide traceable mail within 48 hours of receiving email confirmation from our team.
  6. Please include your name, address, phone number, email address, and order ID on the parcel when returning an item.
  1. Any product sought to be returned or exchanged should be unworn, unused, or unwashed. Products found to be worn, used, damaged or soiled will not be accepted for return or exchange.
  2. Products returned under this policy will be subject to quality testing/inspection.
  3. Janyas Closet reserves the right to reject any request for return and/or exchange of any products without giving any reasons for the same. In such cases, products will be sent back to the customer at the original shipping address.
  4. Janyas Closet Wallet shall not exceed the value of the product returned and/or exchanged but may be subject to deductions of any benefits, for example, any discounts availed, shipping or delivery charges waiver, etc., if any.
  1. Kindly ensure that you are not in contact with perfumes, sprays, creams or any other chemicals while trying the garments.
  2. The items while returning should be free of any pet hair or nail scratches, hence requested to keep them away from animals and pets.
  3. All the items from sale, or promotional coupon and gift voucher purchases are non-returnable, non-refundable & non-exchangeable.
  4. Hair Accessories/items from sale/custom designs, custom colours are not eligible for returns.
  5. Please note that international orders (Deliveries outside INDIA) are not eligible for returns/refunds/exchanges.

All return requests should be notified first on email at team@jayascloset.com within 24 hours from the date of receipt of the items with the order number, reason for return, with supporting images and videos. Our customer service team would look into your email within the next 12 working hours and check on the same.
  2. All eligible returns once approved on email by our customer service team member should reach our warehouse within 7-8 days from the date of receiving the product.
  3. We do not have a reverse pickup facility. Once acknowledged by the team, please send the product back to us yourself. Please do not forget to take acknowledgment receipt from the courier person about the number of products you are dispatching with his signature and mobile number. Janyas Closet will not be responsible for any lost shipment.
  4. We should receive the traceable mail from the customer having tracking number, courier company slip, and order number within strictly 48 hours of receiving the email confirmation from our team.
  5. Please mention your name, address, number, email, and order ID on the parcel.
  6. We charge restocking fees from 25% to 35% based on the original MRP, and the same is deducted from the amount of store credit after deducting shipping. More Details in RESTOCKING FEES FAQ.
  7. As a policy, we do not provide a refund on return. We provide store credit for all eligible returns to be used within 60 days and can be redeemed for any purchase only at www.janyascloset.com
  8. We issue store credit for eligible returns for a validity to be strictly used within 60 days (counted from the date of issue and email sent) by our official email id (team@janyascloset.com).
  9. We will not increase the timeline of store credit in any case. There won’t be any reminders from Janyas Closet on timelines. It is the customer's responsibility to use the store credit on time.
  10. The customer agrees not to dispute the decision made by Janyas Closet and accepts the decision regarding the cancellation/returns/store credit.
  11. Please note that the goods are your responsibility until they are returned to Janyas Closet mentioned warehouse address

At our company, we understand that returning products can be inconvenient for customers, which is why we want to provide a transparent explanation of our restocking fee policy. 

We understand that sometimes customers may make a purchase without fully understanding the details of the product, leading to a need for a return. However, we also recognize that some customers may misuse our return policy by wearing the item and returning it. This type of behaviour is unfair to us as a business and to other customers who expect to receive new and unused items.

As our products are made to order, we incur additional costs when a product is returned, such as restocking, repackaging, and possibly remaking the product to sell. Therefore, restocking fees will be charged on all eligible returned products to help us cover these costs.

Here are some important details regarding our restocking fees:

  • The restocking fee is calculated as a percentage of the product's MRP, based on its price range.
  • Products with MRP between INR 1600 and INR 10,000 have a restocking fee of 25%.
  • Products with MRP between INR 10,001 and INR 20,000 have a restocking fee of 30%.
  • Products with MRP above INR 20,001 have a restocking fee of 35%.

Please note the following:

  1. The restocking fee will be based on the product's actual MRP, not the discounted price paid by the customer at the time of booking.
  2. Any shipping charges paid by the customer at the time of booking will be subtracted from the restocking fee, after any applicable discounts have been applied.
  • The return must be approved by JANYAS CLOSET before it can be sent back.
  • Please note that the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping, which is non-refundable.
  • The customer is responsible for the goods until they are returned to JANYAS CLOSET.
  • Please make sure to put your order number with the return package to ensure that your return is processed in a timely manner.

Before returning any item, please notify us by email at team@janyascloset.com and include your order number.

Our Cancellation Policy states that you may only cancel an order within 24 hours of placing it. After this time period, we will not entertain any cancellation requests. However, in the event that the order has not been approved or processed by Janyas Closet, we reserve the right to cancel the order and refund the entire amount to you as per our usual business practice.

  • We do not offer refunds for returns, but instead provide store credit valid for 60 days.
  • The store credit is non-transferable to any other account.
  • The return and exchange requests cannot be accepted if the items are found to be worn, used, soiled, or damaged.
  • The return of items will be refused as 'faulty' if they are not treated as per the garment care label while washing, ironing, or dry-cleaning.
  • Each return/exchange product will be carefully scrutinized, and if it does not meet our guidelines, the item will be shipped back to you.
  • A credit note will be issued and emailed to you if your return has been accepted, which will be valid for 60 days.
  • We charge a restocking fee of 25% to 35% after deducting the shipping cost from the order value and issue store credit.
  • Store credit can only be used at www.janyascloset.com and strictly within 60 days.

If you receive a shipment that seems tampered, damaged or opened - please do not accept that shipment. Take a photo/ video  of the shipment and get in touch with our customer care team at team@janyascloset.com

We kindly ask our valued customers to consider recording a video while opening their parcels. This will help us to ensure that any discrepancies that may arise can be addressed and resolved efficiently. Once we are satisfied that the returned products meet our return policy, we assure to process all returns within 7 business days of receiving your parcel and issue credit note.

Unfortunately, we are unable to refund the price difference if an item has been reduced after the order has been placed.
